I know, it’s been awhile since I have updated this site. I was on vacation for a time, and what a fine vacation it was too. But it is very good to be back, and since it was my intention to spend my vacation pondering my next prophecy update at Calvary Chapel, in that way it was a very profitable time for the Kingdom as well. The Bible tells us to redeem the time, and at least for me personally that means whatever I’m doing on any given day, I am looking for ways in context to get my mind on eternity.
I have spent the better part of two weeks looking into the latest on technology and global finance. I have to say, I didn’t think there were many ‘wows’ left in me after looking at prophecy for so long, but I was wrong. There are some major changes headed our way, all revolving around buying and selling, just like the Bible predicts. We live in an incredible time.
Let me whet your appetite for next weekend: Rolling out next June will be a new version of Internet Protocol that will allow a phenomenal number of website addresses on earth. Right now, the current IP Version 4 allows for only 4 billion addresses. Yep, that’s a lot. But there are 7 billion people! Granted, a lot of folks aren’t wired, but the Western world more than makes up for the other addresses with our cell phones and multiple wireless communication devices. The new version of IP will allow for ‘duodecillions’ of web addresses – folks, that’s a number with 39 zeros after it. That’s quadrillions of addresses per square meter of earth! What? What would we need with all those addresses, you might wonder. Stay tuned, there is a genuine answer to that….oh, it is so close I can feel it….not that feelings mean anything, but I believe it too! If you can’t tune in to our live stream next Sunday, I will post the better part of the update in 2 weeks to this site. I will take 2 Sundays to lay this out.
