those bones got me thinkin’

Something blew into my mind on this Sunday past that really got my Spirit excited. I was thinking about Ezekiel 36, which recounts the vision of the dry bones, prophesying that the nation of Israel would be regathered again in the last days. The imagery is of the nation being likened to old dry bones coming back together to form Israel, in an entire sound whole, leading up to them recognizing their God eventually in the end times, putting flesh on those bones.

When we think of images of the holocaust, in newsreels and what not, often times it is literally of piles of bones of those who were killed in the camps. And since the holocaust happened right before Israel was regathered into a nation again, what are the chances that God is actually speaking to us in Ezekiel through those images combined with the prophecy of the dry bones, ie, giving us a visual for the fulfillment?

About Mary

I have been a believer since 1981. Everything else before that is relatively meaningless. My heart has, from day 1, always been toward the subject of bible prophecy and I have seen the Lord do amazing things in my life through simply studying the Word and applying it to my life. I am a wife, grandmother and work full time in ministry. Life is full, and full of learning curves and seasons.
