Well, it’s a slow news day. Pelosi is understandably nervous about her statements about the CIA, fallout continues over the Jackson memorial coverage, and Oprah has on some psyhrink to talk about a kid who was raised by dogs. Seriously. Whatever shall we do, I am wringing my hands about all these ridiculous distractions. Good thing God is on the throne, although not many want to acknowledge that anymore. At least I can look forward to meeting with God and His people on Sunday morning, and a baptism on Sunday night – no one can take that away. But in the meantime, pray for the church; the Shack author is in Wisconsin this weekend, and I can’t get it out of my head, so it must need prayer. The slow crawl to utter apostasy is underway, it’s just a matter of time. And our nation is being sold into bondage, one bailout at a time, while people in general are becoming more and more difficult to bear.
